Our yoga instructors take a gentle approach to our classes.
Our goal is to stretch and elongate our muscles in a slower pace environment using yoga poses to accomplish this with a focus on releasing the muscles instead of contracting them. Our yoga instructors describe the moves, break them down and give modifications.

Relax. Rejuvenate. Renew.

Cindy Greaves

Cindy started her yoga journey in 2014, not to become an instructor but to improve strength, flexibility and tone. She fell in love with how the movement made her slow down, not take herself or life too serious and discover the mind, body and spirit connection.

Cindy wanted to share her passion and completed her training and became certified as a BUTI Yoga instructor in 2015. She will be teaching the Vinyasa flow and restorative yoga class for us. Cindy teaches with a nurturing heart and a little funkiness. If you can breathe you can do yoga.

I decided to take a yoga class at my gym on a whim one day in 2010. I loved the class and the way I felt, however the gym stopped offering yoga classes not long after my first class. For the next five years, I used yoga videos at home until I moved to Texas in 2015, blocks away from my neighborhood yoga studio. After some gentle coaxing from my friend, I finally walked to the studio and signed up for a class. I loved it. The instructor made me feel welcome and I came back the next day and took a class from a different instructor. I loved that one, too! I was hooked.

When I found out that the studio was going to be offering a teacher training, I knew I had to sign up. In April 2017, I completed my 200 hour teacher training with Tiffany Denny through 3Tree Yoga and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

In my classes, it is my goal to have fun. I have a gymnastics background so I love to get upside down and balance, and those are my favorite poses to practice and teach. My favorite thing is seeing a student have a breakthrough, no matter the pose, and I celebrate them when they happen. My hope is that my students leave their mats feeling refreshed, renewed, and full of self-love and that they share those feelings with those they meet.

I started my yoga journey about 4 years ago with Bikram Yoga. I quickly became addicted to the way stretching and moving my body made me feel whole inside and out. After Bikram closed, I began doing my own practices at home and self teaching. I found this to be the best way to discover my own yoga.

In the summer of 2017, I had the wonderful opportunity to get my 200 hour YTT in Bali, Indonesia with Abode Yoga. I spent a month in Bali studying yoga philosophies, reiki, and self healing. I discovered my full potential as a yoga teacher to extend light and happiness to others through my teaching. Yoga is a huge passion of mine and I love to meet others on their journey with their yoga.
